Hi Brian and Thomas, I'm still enjoying all your content you put out for us. Love this continued series along with all the others you do. It's going on ten months since I sent you photo's of my tanks to show here and they have evolved so much. I have a high tech Dutch now😀. Will be interesting to when you finally show my past scapes.

Hopefully soon I can send some images or a video of my setup once it has fish in it. Still in the process of building the 130 gallon system with and added bonus of a crested gecko vivarium enclosure.

How about some contests to get our tanks moved to the front of the line. It seems like it's been about a year since I sent my pictures in. I still enjoy these episodes. I like seeing other peoples tanks.
The guy with the cichlid tank at 9:50 you dont need a 125 gal for your cichlids. For your stocking right now a 50 gallon or a 75 gallon would be plenty. Also you want lots of filtration and decent flow because they poop alot
I know placing a tank next to a window is Not food bc of sunlight is bad but what about sunlight reflecting from the floor to the tank?

Agreed. Sometimes there's a disconnect where Thomas says "I'm digging it!" and I'm thinking WTF?!?
Anton Ferreira or maybe he is mindful that this is someone’s first attempt at having a fish tank and that cruelty from random know-it-alls online could mean the difference between someone finding joy and community in the hobby and being put off for life by some nasty comments? Or is just generally a nicer person than the two of you.

@@Littlewings1211 Hey, Thomas is much nicer than I am! He's a sweetheart! If I did the reviews people would be breaking down and drowning themselves in their POS tanks! But as a newcomer to the hobby myself (a know-almost-nothing) I get the most benefit from content like this when the criticism is constructive yet unvarnished. I think this is hard for a persona like Thomas, a major cheerleader for fish-keeping. Sometimes you have to listen carefully between the lines when he says stuff like "nice little system you've got there.......I see you have a heater AND a thermometer.....nice going!"

Sadly I'm gonna have to sell my tanks :( I don't have the energy to keep up anymore bc me and my boyfriend broke up so it's to much for me to take care of properly :( I might keep the tank u showed in this video tho.

Sorry to hear that you’re having a bad time at the moment. Hopefully when things improve with your health you can get back into fish keeping again. I know what you mean though. I have health issues and struggle to keep up with the upkeep with pets etc sometimes, even with just a tiny 22L tank with one betta in it, it can be a real struggle but you have to do what is best for your fish and you. I hope you get better soon x
